Went to see the two thunder birds on today's 1Z40 - Running approximately 21 down at Banbury.
57313 'Tracey Island' powers up as it finally receives the green signal having traveled on yellows all the way from Bicester.
DVT 82101 And 57309 'Brains' pulls up the rear of the train...

Just looking through my 66 Cab pictures of 66722 from Long Marston, It appears to me that the loco seems to have speed control, otherwise know by motorists as 'Cruise Control'.
So basically as you can see in this photo, there is a flicky switch for On/Off and a button that you can press forth...

Went to a local bridge today to see 5Z47 Grantham - Old Oak Common, the ECS From yesterdays Welsh Tour.
Seen 20 mins late just north of Banbury.
A double voyager set heading to Bournemouth.

Something that has been bugging me for quite a while about the Voyager departure. When all the doors have closed the Voyager just before taking off brings in a different noise. An example is here at 0:17.
