I’m looking for the HST castle diagrams currently operating……. They appear on rail tour info/loco hauled but also on groups.io however they are different !! Which is correct please ?
having just watched catchup of worlds most scenic rail journies - New Zealand where the train goes through Arthur’s Pass using 4x their fruit salad locos at 3300hp each, total 13,200hp....... having been on it - it’s very impressive.

ive just watched the new BBC drama gold digger....... 3 times they showed an exterior of an HST for a journey to or from Paddington & Devon which is ok despite them being recently replaced....... but each time the interior shots were in a Thames Turbo (or similar)
Has there ever been a UK rail...
when he was alive my Dad regularly complained that modern day services on his line to Portsmouth were 14 minutes slower than BR days...... as I have quoted this a couple of times I wondered if this was actually so - I have no old BR timetable to refer to.......
