Hi, I am hoping to spend the day in South Wales on Thursday, hoping to get some photo's of freight trains at Severn Tunnel Junction, some Time on Newport and Cardiff. Any advice on places to go, best times to be where or any chance of seeing class 70's, be happy to hear any advice.
We had a family day at Dawlish earlier this month. I only managed to sneak a quick photo in from the footbridge, so nothing special.
Last week I dug out an old photo album from the loft and also found an old pic from the same spot at Dawlish which I had taken in August 1975.

Had a great afternoon with my kids at the Plymm Valley railway, Marsh Mills, Plymouth on Sunday 6th June 2010.

A wet day camping last Saturday was a good excuse for me to take my youngest lad for a ride on the B&WR. (Not sure who is the biggest child!)

After seeing the diesel convoy at lunchtime I got the itch to take a few photos in the evening, unfortunately the sun was replaced by cloud, but for an hour or so it was pretty busy and its not a bad spot...
