Hi, as above with a paper ticket kx to Cambridge, can you use a LNER service and get off at Stevenage to change? I guess in disruption you can, but what about normal service? Or are LNER tickets completely separate?

I'm just curious about this, what with the LNER announcement and ongoing pay and condition disputes. Did the unions ever try and do any thing to stop the Beeching cuts going through? After all a 1/3rd of the network slashed, 100,000's of job losses, but you don't hear of the unions trying to...

Just curious, last few days trains trom Baldock , particularly early morning ones, seem to suffer from cancellations and failures more so than usual. Just wondered if people thought it was just coincidence or a greater malaise?
