"Leaving from" field when booking a Southern DaySave ticket

Hello, The online booking for the Southern DaySave ticket (link) has a mandatory "Leaving from" field. What is the significance of that field? It might be just a formality, the only station where I can collect the ticket, the only station where I may to enter through the gates, or else ... ...
