Breaking a journey at Birmingham New Street?

I need to travel from Kettering to Birmingham International, which usually routes via Birmingham New Street. Due to flight times I'm stopping overnight in Birmingham city centre. I'll be travelling out on a Sunday, and back the next weekend. Can I buy the standard off-peak return to Birmingham...
