    Lelant Station - mystery centre rails

    I have looked through all previous threads re Lelant Station and have not found anything to help solve this mystery. i have a picture, taken this week, of the station showing two lengths of normal rail bolted down onto the (concrete ?) sleepers, bur showing no sign of use as they are oxidised...

    Trivia - named stations that were located outside their towns etc.

    Hoping to get a few replies to this as I know of only one at the moment. I suspect any indicated may be on a similar footing to mine in being physically located within the confines of an adjacent village, but it will be interesting to see if any really major stations, relative to towns...
