Steam in Scotland 1961

I was fortunate to purchase a Railrover Ticket in July 1961 which gave me the freedom of travel on the LMS (or Midland Region) for 7 days. Part of our travels took us to Glasgow and we found a suburban service recently returned to steam as the elctric service had failed. Can anyone advise the...
