Alstom directors arrested on suspicion of fraud

BBC news reports that three company directors at Alstom have been arrested on suspicion of bribery and corruption. The serious fraud office alleges that bribes were paid in order to win contracts. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8584776.stm

Train hits car near Salisbury

An FGW Cardiff to Portsmouth train - presumably a 158 - has hit a car on the line near Salisbury. There was nobody in the car and no passengers were hurt according to the BBC. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/wiltshire/8497322.stm
