By 'free weekend travel', should I presume the season ticket holder is only entitled to free travel on Saturdays and Sundays, and not on Bank Holiday Mondays?

When I was booking a MML Advance C return ticket to Sheffield from London, it displayed the correct total of £7.90 in total.
However, after I input my credit card details it charged me a fare of £9.40 stating that there is a £1.50 credit card fee.

On the National Rail website, it says that a CDR costs £8.65 provided I board at London Bridge (presumably Thameslink service), whereas it costs £11.10 if I want to take a service from London Victoria (Southern).
Is this because Thameslink offer cheaper fares when using their services? IIRC...

According to the BBC, the two Heritage Routemaster Routes will operate between Tower Hill and Piccadilly Circus (via the 15?) and from Aldwych to Royal Albert Hall (via the 9?). Travelcards/passes will be accepted and the service will run daily between about 9:30am to 6:30pm.
