Off peak and stressed out error

Hi I got stopped today leaving Levenshulme station as I returned from Manchester picadilly because I had an off peak ticket. It was a general mistake as I believed it to be half 4 and my local train where I grew up and where my parents live there is no evening peak time. I got a 16 04 service...
