I'm curious to know what the best quality bus data in the UK is, by that I mean which operator provides the most comprehensive timetable information online and which local authority has the most accurate bus stops info. Looking on bus times.org the Isle of Wight seems to be quite good, is this...
On a quick trip to Belfast recently I noticed that not only did all translink buses have a pair of yellow lights in the destinations screens that flashed when operating a school bus service, but also some coaches and minibuses did, I don’t recall seeing this anywhere else in the British isles...

Does anybody know what the maximum size of the original Eastern Scottish fleet ever was, and what the Deans peak vehicle requirement is today?
A question for those of you with longer memories. When was the Little Red Book last issued, who published it, and is there anywhere else that the information it contained can be found updated today?
Does anybody know what the current status of this collection is? Website hosting has lapsed and there were rumours that it was all going to get cleared out for scrap.
I can think of one bus network that had routes numbered from 1 up to the 20s but never a 13. Also I am sure there were fleets that went from 1 to 12 then 14 upwards. Any present day examples?
Inspired by the Olympian operators thread, are there any other models of step entry double decker still in normal service this year? Eg Scania, Dennis Dominator or Arrow, Volvo Citybus (forget open toppers and half cabs for simplicity)
Used to see a few Q registered vehicles about, kit cars and the like but not for a while now.
Were there ever any Q plate buses and coaches? Anyone still operating one in service?
Has anybody got a record of how many vehicles each of the big groups has bought in the last twenty years? I would include the likes of leased Megabus coaches and the secondhand buses First bought from dealers, but not stock acquired with business takeovers etc.
Apologies if this one has been the subject of a past discussion, but I wondered what route has the highest peak vehicle requirement? I'm guessing in London, but perhaps there is something even more intensive in one of the other large cities?
