    Departure Screens...I want to scream.

    I've lost count the number of times I've yelled at the top of my voice inside my head that no-one's desperate to look at the departures on page 2, or subsequent screens. At all the local stations I use the amount of time the screen displays page 1, 2, 3, etc seems to be the same length of time...

    Height of Platforms...or trains.

    Something I've noticed, most recently at Meadowhall (Sheffield) Station. I was sitting on a train and there was a train on the opposite platform and the passengers must have been about 12-18 inches higher than me. Is this unusual to have such variation...and what are the implications for bridges...

    Frequency of trains to London from Doncaster.

    I haven't actually combed through the timetables, but I'm convinced that more trains depart from Doncaster to London than to any other destination. Is this true for any other station so far away from the the capital? I'm not sure if this is a good thing for Doncaster, or not.
