Without valid ticket

hello wonder if anyone can help me ! i boarded the "7.13 from Nantwich to Man Picc" this morning as normal, When I approached the door at Manchester station platform and guard asked for tickets by platform 10 i think and I pulled out my weekly pass and photo ID showed him my pass and said...
