Help - Sitting in First class with Standard Class ticket

Hi All, I hoping you can offer me some advice. Last week I made my normal travel back from from Finsbury Park back to Hatfield via First Capital Connect. I hold a season card which I purchase monthly or weekly depending. I boarded the train at peak time and the standard class was very busy...
