Some photos from a good day out, shame about 37685 failing but these things can't be helped, 218 and 706 in tandem on the morning were rather enjoyable as were the two DRS engines sounding good on the cambrian. Decided to get off at Porthmadog though and headed up to Spooners on the Ffestinigog...

Some phots from yesterdays tour to Newcastle, return was a bit of a farce with 47787 having square wheels (like some of the stock) being unable to return so no heat was available, the warmth was soon lost, I was able to move into first after York, which was a aircon so the sealed windows left it...
A few phots from yesterdays tour to Edinburgh, a long but enjoyable day with some fast run and good noise under the station roofs at Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Huddersfield & Man Vic.

Few phots of the Spitfire tour from Taunton to York which as you have probably read elsewhere was a farce, after waking up at 0355 we boarded the tour for the 0522 departure, both 37516 & 37676 powering. By Bristol P'way 516 had sat down and it was decided 47851 would be ran round to the front...
Phots of 37264 at the SVR Diesel Gala over the event, apparently 264 is off to the Moors soon so will look forward to it up there, does not sound bad although light on its feet.
