Well the title of the video is factually correct but obviously not quite what it might have been. The tunnel entrance to Halifax is visible in the background though. It's as much as anyone's going to get to travelling on a train along this trackbed for the forseeable future I fear.

Dear all;
I recently was booked with advance tickets (obviously with seat reservations) on a Sunday Grand Central service from London King's Cross to Bradford Interchange. The service was canceled. I was traveling with my wife and seven year-old son.
We proceeded to go to catch the next...
I was just about to book a weekend trip from Brussels to Luxembourg on SNCB and noticed there is a slot for a discount code. Does anyone know a currently valid code? The price was pretty good anyhow I was just wondering if I could improve on it. I know about getting Quidco on...
Hi all;
I need to get back to Yorkshire from London late on a Saturday night or early on a Sunday morning. Ideally leaving London about 2330h. So what options do I have? The last East Coast leaves King's Cross at 2200h which is a bit early; then the first on Sunday leaves at 0856h which is a...
Hi all;
I was wondering anyone who had good knowledge of euro-train museums if any had a Trans Europe Express set on display? My son is fascinated by this loco and if there was one in a museum in Germany or Switzerland or elsewhere I'd love to take him. I've tried searching but a lot of the...
Here's my attempt at covering this event. There's some filler which isn't Bittern which I'm not sure if that will annoy or interest viewers. That's the way it is for now anyhow. There's very definitely Bittern at some point.

I'd read there were some LEGO Tube Maps which were up in various Underground stations, including one of the network in 2020!
Apparently there are some leaflets accompanying these maps; anyone have any of these?
Here's the TfL page about the maps...
Last week I was due to get the 0705h from London King's Cross to Leeds using my nicely priced £10 advance East Coast sale ticket. Arriving at King's Cross the 0705h was shown as being 'Canceled' with no obvious suggestion about what to do. Rather than join a queue at some counter I decided to...
D9009 hauling 55002 and 55019 through Hebden Bridge on the way from the ELR to York. Didn't really get much good engine noise unfortunately, but it's a nice sight to see regardless I'd say.

Was looking at trains which might be going via Hebden Bridge today and spotted 3S08 as linked below. I wonder what's Wigan L.I.P. and what exactly is this train? Some sort of NR test train which they run from time to time? I guess that's what is meant by "This schedule runs as required". I guess...
