    Paying for electricity

    Hi all, Got a queistion: How do TOCs (or indeed FOCs) pay for the electricity their trains get from the OHLE or 3rd rail? I thought it would be in the track access charge, or maybe they pay a standing charge per annum, but then that wouldn't account for the higher usage from a rammed train...

    0202 Oxford to Witney

    Just looking on open train times for trains at oxford, and noticed that there is a service operating from Oxford to Witney, by bus. The service is aparently operated by FGW. Why would FGW operate a bus service to Witney? The tracks were ripped up many years ago!
