Maybe in fantasy land here, but the Marks Tey - Sudbury line would be perfect for a class 230 to allow the Stadler trains to be used wider network.
They seem such a waste on such a short branch when the rest...
Hi,
I have a ticket for the 24th March from Worcester Shrub Hill / Folgate St to Chelmsford, the ticket mentions "only via London and Stroud or Evesham"
Unfortunately there appears to be engineering work on the 24th March, and National Rail are showing routes via Birmingham New St and...
National Rail gives a Route via Stratford ( London ) and the Underground, can I go via Liverpool Street and Cycle to Waterloo ? and is my bike allowed on the Ferry with the Rail ticket ?
I could not see a thread on this

Hello,
I am looking to book a return ticket from London Waterloo to Ryde on the IOW, is there a return ticket option that will allow me to use the Wightlink Cat going one way and the Hovercraft on the Return ?
Hi All,
I have a query about the above journey, the alternatives are
Reedham to Lowestoft and Lowestoft to Woodbridge or
Reedham to Norwich and Norwich to Ipswich to Woodbridge.
Would a ticket be valid on either routing ?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
It is virtually the same journey time to get to Liverpool Street Via either Cambridge or Ipswich to Liverpool Street, both journeys are with Greater Anglia can I use my ticket for either routing.
Thanks in advance.

Surely if they were to be painted white instead the carriages would be cooler and on stock with A/C the power use would be reduced.
The new London bus stock are...
Is there a full restaurant car with cooked breakfast etc ?
Looking to take the children for a full day up near Norwich, this would convince me to leave the car at home.
Best regards

Watching the age of the train programme the other night, the APT seemed so close to being accepted.
If it had worked how would the UK train landscape be different today do we think.
It appears only the Suburban and Underground / DLR Platforms have canopy's given the usage ( particularly over the olympic period ) this would seem to be an oversight.
Is anyone aware why platforms 9 and 10 were left out ?
Given all of the legislation around accessability, it would seem to me that the biggest restriction is the gap between train and platform, has there been any work done in regard to standardising platform and / or train heights to allow step free access ?
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
