Here is the second steam gala of the year from the East Lancs Railway. With 7 engines in steam, passenger sets and the good train out it was a very busy day for the team at the ELR. Hats of to them again for a fantastic day out.
Titled 'The Big One' this gala really was exactly what it said on the program. 10 locomotives in steam, goods trains, turntable demonstrations, TPO's and regular passenger workings saw the busiest gala ever.
