Hidden rules and split shifts?

Hello Everyone, I have a quick question regarding the hidden report and rules regarding the 12 maximum working time for non-safety critical FGW staff. If for example someone was to work a 0600-1000 shift in the morning, would they they be able to work a 1300-1700 shift in the afternoon, also...
