As far as I am aware, every station on the national rail network should have a sign outside with the double arrow symbol and the station name. Flitwick, my local station, doesn't. Are there any others?
This may be of interest to some people. While planning a trip to Belgium on the SNCB website I found they are running a special offer, any station in Belgium to any station in the Netherlands for 19 euros. More info here https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Promotions/IC/ICOffer#TravelWish

I took advantage of some cheap advance fares to visit the Isle of Wight on July 16th and ride on the old tube stock. Here are some photos

A friend of mine has an advance ticket to travel from Luton to Penzance. The itinerary has him catching the 08.48 service from Luton to St Pancras in order to connect with the 10.06 to Penzance which is the only train he has a reservation coupon for. Would he be allowed to catch an earlier train...
Some pictures from my trip to Norway and Sweden, including the iron ore line from Kiruna to Narvik.
