That is what I as thinking..from what I am told, the NXEC guys sign quite a number of diversionary routes in addition to the service routes, and it all takes time...
I was posting in response to the information displayed on the NXEC website under the careers section that says that qualified drivers may register their future interest for vacancies by submitting a CV..I spoke to a member of staff in the recruiting department who said that, although he was not...
Was just curious owing to my having submitted a CV to NXEC..I put donny down as my first choice but also Leeds as well...
Don't suppose you would have a rough idea of when these people are expected to be recruited do you?
Should imagine they'd have to be moving soon, what with recruitment...
Hi Guys..
Was just wondering if anyone knew any info about the supposed qualified driver jobs coming up at NXEC??
I've heard that they're connected to the Dec 2010 timetable change, but nobody seems to have any further info..
Can anyone help??
Cheers
FN
I must admit to finding the nugget of info about NXEC vacancies interesting..I have a CV in with them presently...is there any more detail to be given on this at all??
Personally I am always cautious about the prospect of any train crew joining a company like GC. Fair play to them for starting up etc, and I wish them well, but they are completely exposed to market conditions...I would not consider my job as safe if I worked for such a marginal operator..
