Hi
the "zig zag" is more than wide enough to walk through with your bike. See people doing it every day.
if not, the ticket machines are right next to the ticket office.
the barrier staff will let you through the wider barrier with the bike.
Hi guys
sorry for the short reply last night was posting from my phone
for me, the next stages were as follows:
Under consideration for Assessment 2
Assessment 2 scheduled
Assessment 2 completed
Formal Offer Sent
Formal Offer Accepted - Pre Employment Checks Underway
Yes!! result!
well done!
The interview wasn't as bad as I imagined. Was just two people and some fairly standard questions about "have you ever faced a difficult customer - how did you deal with it" etc.
all basic customer service orientated questions.
there were 3 jobs for mine too.
my online status has now changed from "pre employment checks underway"
to being completely blank
so either its all sorted, or they have changed their mind :D
I think as long as you get all the important bits then you will be fine :)
Were there many at your assessment?
there were 6 people at mine, and all of them got through to interview stage
excellent
one thing I will say though - badger their HR people as much as you can, cause they are absolutely useless and take weeks and weeks to get back to you unless you are on at them constantly.
I am meant to be starting in less than 2 weeks and they still haven't confirmed my start...
my assessment centre and interview were on two different days
Interview was just a bog standard job interview
assessment centre was just watching videos and writing down any mistakes you see
Passed :)
they didn't calculate BMI, just took height / weight and wrote it down
and she never even asked if I wore contacts (which I do, and had them in)
well, had my medical yesterday, and although it involved loads, it wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be
height/weight check
blood pressure
hearing test
eyesight test
colourblind test (didn't get a couple of them, but she didn't seem fussed)
Balance test
hand/eye co-ordination...
Just got this email if anyone is interested

Hello,
As per my other thread recently, I've been offered a CSA job with Network Rail.
The offer is conditional on passing a medical.
I've been reading on here about different medicals etc and I was reading about the BMI limit being 33 - I reckon I am about 35.
Will this stop me...
