Avanti still seem to be saying ticket acceptance is after 1200 on their website, yet some posts earlier suggested they've lifted this restriction?

Hi All,
I am due to travel tomorrow, however, if I need to abandon my rail journey and make an alternative way there how do I go about claiming a refund on my tickets?
They are split tickets via Trainsplit, all the TOCs along the journey have said a fee free refund can be obtained due to the...
There was a consultation on what to do with station square not long ago wasn't there? Suspect it won't stay as it is long as two out of three of the options were to convert some of it to retail space.
Cheers guys.
Looks like the council are trying to get the traffic commissioner involved - https://www.miltonkeynes.co.uk/news/politics/traffic-commissioner-alerted-over-decline-in-bus-reliability-in-milton-keynes-1-9204709
You don't need to queue to obtain the ticket and they are much harder to lose.
If you do print the e-ticket off (which means you don't actually need a working phone to use one) and lose that then you can just print another one off.
The only way I can think to lose one is to lose access to your...
It was on Trainsplit that I noticed it - I'm not too worried as I'm sure I'll be able to find a seat, I was just a bit surprised that a certain type of fare would prevent you reserving a seat on a train that you otherwise could.
I've noticed something a bit odd when booking tickets for an upcoming trip, if I get an Anytime Short Distance Return for the Crewe -> Wigan leg I am unable to reserve seats on the outgoing or returning trains, however, if I choose a different ticket type eg. two Off-Peak Singles for the same...
If you look at the Arriva MK social media pages on Twitter and Facebook, for the last few months (at least) some complaints have been responded to with the depot is experiencing 'operational issues'.
Does anyone here know what those 'operational issues' actually are?
Unfortunately if the vacancy you have applied for hasn't held interviews before today then the hiring manager will need to seek approval by the new Resource Approval Panel before it can go any further. They will only approve 'critical' roles (not defined) and headcount increasing positions will...
I agree I'm astounded that this offer triggered a suspension of strike action - personally if I were on the negotiating team acceptance wouldn't have even crossed my mind.
I think the TSSA may have led the way with it though as from the comms I have had from them they do indeed think it is an...
This is more akin to voting for an MP but then expecting a referendum for every individual vote MPs are supposed to be voting on.
I'd be more inclined to accept that if the vote was marginal, like the TSSAs was, then a referendum should be held (and, indeed, is for the TSSA).
But with the...
Sure but the question asked didn't really refer to any particular offer. It simply gave the RMT a mandate to announce strike action - forcing a re-ballot every time an employer offers new terms would be ripe for abuse.
Lets not forget that unions themselves are democratic organisations so have...
Well they have been negotiating since October and there is a time limit on how long after a ballot the unions can announce industrial action. If they were to hold off for a reply from NR without calling for strike action I suspect NR might not be in a rush to come back with a counter offer.
