Yes I was gutted I will give it another go in 6 months, your application sounds right I also did an application for transport for Wales and missed out some parts by mistake doing it on my phone my advice is apply for any driver jobs that come up, hope you hear something soon the waiting is a killer good luck.

Cant wait to get out of the fire service now, all these changes are crap!! Do you work for manchester? i rang HR today and they said my application had not gone through for some reason! They have put it through for me today and said the next intake is June. I hope you hear something soon mate. Just keep trying and you will get there. Was the interview easy?.Do you need to research the company? cheers.

Yes worked for gmc for 25 years retired in January, defo do your research on the company, types and number of traction, geographical area they cover, and who the MD is etc.
