This thread has been prompted by the sign shown below which has recently appeared - appropriately - in the 'cess' opposite platform 3 at my local station in Italy....Pratovecchio-Stia.
(Photo shows a stylised image of a man crouching and defecating with a diagonal red line through it.... implying prohibition).
I can't help wondering whether the sign is aimed at passengers arriving to catch late evening trains and finding the station facilities closed and locked. Could perhaps be described as the 'Big Italian Job' !
