How about using an open topper for tree lopping?
General consensus is that it would be required to be licensed as an HGV for such use, not a PCV. In addition, the complexities around tree ownership and preservation orders means it is now a task that really needs to be undertaken by the highway authority, not a bus operator.

I saw something on Facebook, apparently the Streetdecks were being battered by the trees due to the design, so they had to stop using them on the 14 14A
Street Decks are some 6" taller than E400s hence a different profile for the overhanging trees.
Streetdeck = 4.395m = 14ft 5in E400 = 4.2m = 13ft 11ins

A number of E400 Hybrids are due to move from Stockport to Rock Ferry, they are fitted with AVA and the first three I believe moved last week.

I assume these may be for Schools?

12124/5 have been sighted at Rock Ferry, as well as E200 37154......although that could just be at RF for paint?

With 37154, it must be for repaint. It is only one of a few left in Beachball, and Little Hulton wouldn't have any spare buses for their single deck school fleet (they need 20 and they have 21 buses (20 e200s including 37154 and 1 E300 for spare) and I don't think TfGM would be too happy if a school bus got cancelled.

Indeed, RF does a lot of stuff for Manchester, with Bee Network vehicles very regular visitors....

I've seen plenty of Bee Network vehicles at Rock Ferry the last couple of years when i've passed the depot, & Rock Ferry did a lot of stuff for Stagecoach Manchester before then.
