The WiFi offering onboard got overtaken by data contracts being so cheap (& often unlimited) so everyone uses their own data connection as 4G/5G beats the old 3G SIM cards that on bus WiFi generally used

Nottingham City Transport has wifi on their Yutongs but removed it on the diesel and biogas fleet: https://www.nctx.co.uk/withdrawal-board-wi-fi
As the number of sessions has declined considerably since we first introduced Wi-Fi, we cannot justify the cost of new equipment or the annual data charges when less than 5% of our customers now use our Wi-Fi.

Working with our partners, we have been able to source a new way of providing on board Wi-Fi as a secondary function of other equipment on the bus. This system is in use on our electric bus fleet and will be introduced to all new buses going forward.

Certain Transdev buses have onboard WIFI. Coastliner, the36 and Witchway are just some of the routes that usually have buses with WIFI.
