Yes there's some ex-Brighton & Hove Hybrids conversions that still aren't in service, along with some ex-Go North East examples.
Progress on that seemed to stop after 20825's entry iirc, and that was around a year ago now so I don't know whats with the delay, you'd imagine it to be done by now considering the first one entered in early 2025

20824 was reported in the paintshop a Week ago by EY Enthusiasts and 20793 (EvoSeti) was in the bodyshop ahead of repaint.

Whereas 20834 was reportedly complete from the paintshop 2 weeks ago.

Noticed an E200 in Scarborough today with what looked like full Arriva interior, what's the story behind this one?

Sorry, no idea what fleet number, I only saw it from the top deck of the X94...

Possibly 284 (LJ09 KPN) new to Arriva London.
Good call - I was about to suggest the same thing

Has anybody looked at upcoming services lately? There is a service registered as HC1 on bustimes.org with a start date of October next year. Presuming that EYMS are not intending to celebrate my 39th birthday is that an error in the paperwork or at bustimes?

I wonder if its a matchday service simply because of it being HC - ie Hull City FC. Although it seems a bit strange to have registered the service of a year in advance? Possibly the 2027 bit is an error?
This weekends loan to Compass for Moors is Enviro 200 20388 SN65ZGJ
Recently refurbished as well.

Putting 2 + 2 together (and possibly getting 46) Hull Fair starts on Friday 9 October which wipes out most parking at the stadium, and Hull City are playing at home on Sunday 11 October so this is likely a shuttle for that. The fair is closed on the Sunday so the extra buses for that won't be running. The 27 is likely a typo.

I've got a photo of the aftermath but not sure on the fairness/rules on posting said image so I am sure one if the wonderful moderators will give a fair and just ruling

Unless EYMS are looking long term! I suppose that anything is possible

Just a thought, at the moment on Sundays and bank holidays, East Yorkshire seem to always use the electrics on the Castle Hill 54/104 circular. With the Sunday service uplifts coming up, will this likely mean less chances of electrics on this route on the Sunday timetable?

There are also registrations for Hull Fair services:

Similarly to HC1, Stagecoach Hull have registered 62 and 67 from MKM to Kingswood and North Bransholme respectively

Assumably, these were formerly operated by Acklams or something as I cant imagine these to be brand new services as opposed to previously contracted to independents?

I did see a Acklams E400MMC a few months back working a KC1 service on a HC matchday down the cemetery bit of Chanterlands Ave near the rail crossing and near where Hull Fair sits

Nice to see the F suffix making a come back on the Fair Extras

They were absent last year I believe - I live right on the corner of the fair so was clocking the route numbers and never saw them with an F

I've used the extension to Fountains Abbey again today, the first 84 from York had 7 (myself included) people stay on to Fountains Abbey which was good to see. Destination blinds have finally been updated, just as the service returns to York-Ripon next week, but better late than never I suppose!

It looks like the customer support team are getting confused with EY's various sub-brands. Alerts on the app about disruption in York tag the Coaster 12 instead of the Y12, and disruption in Scarborough, Filey or Bridlington tags the Y12 instead of the Coaster 12. I have personalised travel alerts enabled for the Y12, so its a bit frustrating to get alerts for the Coaster 12 as it doesn't affect me. I can imagine its equally frustrating for someone who uses the Coaster 12 to get alerts for the Y12 instead when it doesn't affect them.

Even yesterday, a road closure in Fishergate had the Coaster 12 incorrectly listed as an affected service instead of the Y12. This also happens with Coaster 14 and the Y14, the latter I have personalised travel alerts for and have been notified about a road closure in Flamborough which has no affect on the Y14 whatsoever.

Made even more confusing because in York, the buses themselves just show 12/14 and not Y12/Y14. It feels like the pragmatic solution would be for York Council to allow them to change the number of those routes to something else that doesn't duplicate the number of (a) another route in York, or (ii) another Go-ahead East Yorkshire/North Riding route.

That would be easiest for EY. EY made it more confusing for themselves when they removed the "Y" prefix from their website/app, so the only difference between the York routes and the Coaster routes is the colour of the service number (yellow for York, blue for Coaster). This seems to have made things difficult for the customer support team. In theory, it makes it less confusing for passengers as they don't see the "Y" prefix on the bus, but they might also now struggle to distinguish the York routes and the Coaster routes.

Realistically, there would need to be no duplication within York and within EY's wider operations with regards to route numbers. If City of York Council don't concede, EY might need to take matters into their own hands and change the route numbers on Coaster.

Interestingly, these duplication problems don't seem to be happening with Procters 53 & the 53 in Hull.

I thought Procters were supposed to becoming part of North Riding. All is a total shambles but then if their priority is stupid renumbering of vehicles when they move depots having time to consider their public interaction will be limited.

I struggle to see how Proctors are making any money on the X98/99. 60 mile round trip, sometimes twice a day, to change drivers or swop a vehicle.

I agree given Transdev gave up working them from Starbeck. It was Go Ahead that won it and decided to work it out of Leeming Bar. Presumably it will end with Franchising and them being worked from a more sensibly located depot by whoever.
