Purley Oaks / Sanderstead to London

I’ve recently started commuting from Purley Oaks to Waterloo East, and have concluded that it will be cheaper to by an annual season ticket as I travel 4 days a week at peak times.

As I drive to Purley Oaks (allowing time for variable traffic etc.), I often have enough time to walk to Sanderstead and get into London slightly earlier. Obviously not a problem when travelling PAYG, but would like to have the flexibility to use both stations with a season ticket. I therefore have a couple of questions:

1) Is a Purley Oaks to London Terminals season ticket also valid at Sanderstead, due to the close proximity of the two stations?

2) I note Coulsdon South to London is the same price as from Purley Oaks. Would this also work at Sanderstead if the answer to Q1 is yes?

Chipstead, Coulsdon South, Coulsdon Town, Kingswood, Purley, Purley Oaks, Riddlesdown, Sanderstead, Tadworth,

Tattenham Corner, Upper Warlingham or Woodmansterne. Any Season Ticket from London. Southern

Or I would suggest looking at a Travelcard for the appropriate Zone - will depend on what other travelling you do.

Yes, I did have a look at that, however the amount of non-business related travel I do on TfL wouldn’t go anywhere near the difference in cost. Certainly something I’ll monitor over time though.
