I'm resurrecting my own thread.

How about a Cambridge-London Underground Zones tickets? Can I travel with one of those to e.g. London Bridge and then change to tube? Or do I strictly have to follow the validity of a London Terminals tickets and start my tube journey from Kings Cross/St Pancras/Liverpool Street?
LU ticket interavailability on the Thameslink core will permit this.

The simplest way to understand this rule is that a London Terminals ticket is not valid for alighting at, or passing through, Farringdon.
Except when it is valid for passing through.

The Elizabeth line opening has made things even more confusing, because it is a National Rail service despite what TfL sometimes want you to believe.

Are there any easements preventing a London Thameslink ticket being used Cambridge - Liverpool St - Farringdon - Blackfriars? (Regardless as to what the answer to this question is, I'd imagine that there would be issues at the gateline)
