Not a good spell for Southern

Southern have had a run of bad luck - the Lewes derailment, a landslip between Polegate and Eastbourne suspending trains on that route and now a track inspection suspending services for the rest of the day on the Uckfield Line south of Hurst Green (and as a knock-on no Spa Valley trains between Groombridge and Eridge)

Eastbourne Airshow is this weekend too just to add to it all.

Just another day on the railway. Things happen and have to be handled as and when they do. Unfortunately, things can happen all at once. Many of these things are no one persons fault but a combination of things such as weather and, ultimately, bad luck. Southern will get it sorted.
