Is there any way to know what unit(s) will run on a service this Sunday?

I don't think there's anyway to know for certain. It's listed as dividing at Carmarthen so it should be at least 4 carriages from Crewe to there.

Probably worth noting it's pretty much certain to be formed of a Class 197, so most likely either 4 (2+2) or 5 (3+2 or 2+3) carriages.

RealTimeTrains will tell you in detailed mode, but only on the day itself
Obviously what happens on the day may differ but its booked for a 5 car 197.

Its showing in the unit diagram as remaining coupled all day, only splitting at Shrewsbury in the evening, the 3 car then goes onto Abbey Foregate, the 2 car ECS to Chester.
