Do they tell you your score for every exam you take and Perhaps outline the ones you scored incorrectly?
That’s not too bad actually, hopefully will be out with a DI at the start of the new year being a September starter!
Also I’m curious, how do the exams work for rules and regs? Are they paper or digital and are they long form written answers or multiple choice?
And my last question is has anyone received their login details for the SE Learning space yet? As I’m yet to receive mine to complete the relevant e learning before starting.
Yes, once each A & B exam is complete, you get your average score across the 2 papers, which needs to be above 80% but they ask you to keep above 90%.
If you’re in the low to mid 80’s then you’ll struggle on the final mod 5 and possible have a learner review regularly with your trainers.
You’re then shown your wrong answers and it’s discussed with you what the correct answer should of been.

The exams are digital on Southeasten tablets in class.
A mixture of written and multiple choice/multiple answers.
Ranging from 60mins to 2hrs per paper.
You should get your Southeasten login a few weeks before start date.

Im on a September course and haven't received it yet. I was going to chase them up, but I'll hold off now.
Start day for me tomorrow, in Ashford for 1 day then Tonbridge for 1 day then training in Orpington from Wednesday onwards. Slightly nervous but excited at the same time, Like Mickey pointed out I need to aim for a minimum of 90% in them exams and I should be fine.

Above 90% is totally doable if you study hard and revise.
Do you know who your trainers are?
Ross Bower is the main one with a couple of other people along the way. Yes getting this far I certainly plan to put maximum effort in.
Ross is a nice guy, had him in our class a couple of times, good banter.
Niomi is another decent trainer, very knowledgable.

Hey. Yes it was Jemma that interviewed me. She was lovely. So friendly and made me feel much more relaxed.
I am down for CX and Vic too.
I'm quite nervous about this TPWS Sheet. I've already done a little bit or researche about it so I have a basic understanding of what it is. But I'm just so nervous that I've got to learn a whole Sheet of information and have no idea what it's gona look like.
Hopefully I'll pass and be starting the course with you.
Might make me feel a bit less nervous as I'll kindof know somebody haha.

It was really good to be honest. I had Richard and Scott was supposed to be Craig but Richard took it instead. Really nice people and easy to talk to they put me at ease straight away and did feel more like a chat rather then an intense interview (although i was really nervous before hand lol), but make sure to revise TPWS sheet and company info as well as going over the core 30 questions and you will do fine mate!

Don't research it, they only want you to know the information written on the paper, you'll just confuse yourself. Just get into the habit of reading the sheet everyday and eventually it'll stick. It isn't a solid wall of text, there are lots of bullet points which breaks it up a lot.

I agree. Personally I broke it down into 2 parts. I made sure I remembered the top part word for work before I moved onto the 2nd part. Don't worry about it. If you can pass the trp1 and remember the info you researched on the company, then the TPWS won't be a problem. Just remember, they are not trying to catch you out. They actually want to hire you so keep reminding yourself of that. The dmi is all about the business and your suitability. It's really relaxed. I had Roy and Yog in my interview Roy conducted the interview. Super cool guy. Met Yog first and he was very professional and social. Happy to work for either of them. Hey Guys, after waiting almost 2 and half years for a test date, due to London centre closing and moving to Ashford, I finally have a date for my test on 26th August, I've got my digital paperwork have been trying as and when at my security job to go through the tests on their and practice. Is there any advice that can be given to help me on the day? Any other things I need to look Into? I did apply back in early 2024 and picked Orpington depot but noticed they changed the depot to Ashford or Tonbridge only or is this just for training?any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers Charlie

Hi Charlie, I passed the assessment day earlier in the year. I would say the main thing is to do the practice tests and then try to be as calm as possible on the day. Don't worry yourself about it too much, get a good nights sleep etc. If it makes you feel any better, on the session I did the majority of the people passed. You do the VSE last , make sure you listen to their instructions as one guy slipped up on that.
Your practice pack probably mentions the multi modal interview, they do that on another date so don't worry about that at the moment
Ashford/Orpington are training centres. If you’re successful, you’ll be based here for approx 12/13 weeks during rules and regs.
Have a good read through this thread, myself and plenty of other people have written about individual experiences and what to expect on the day.
Main thing is to relax and don’t panic, some tests are designed to overload you a little and this is where people fail.
