Already mentioned in the Bluebell Railway Diesel Gala thread that a driving trailer from this unit was spotted in Monday on the southern section of the M25 heading anti- clockwise (towards Sussex and Kent).
I've also just seen the motor coach (Named 'Sir Chris Green', so definitely from 1753) going in the same direction.
There seems to be very little information available to the status of this unit (no website or socials), but moving at least half of it from Burton Upon Trent to the South East isn't exactly cheap, so I'm assuming something is going on.
Was wondering if anyone knows what's happening with it and where it may have gone.
I'll be driving round the same stretch of motorway the next two days at the same time, so will keep an eye out for anymore of it.

It was never owned by the former NSE Society - it's owned by a private individual who is the sole director of a limited company.

I assume it will be announced as a Bluebell Diesel Gala visitor in due course , they've said on their Facebook and website that they Still have more visitors to announce so I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being officially announced and showing it's face.

Was my initial thought as well. Just wondering where it has gone in the meantime. If it had been delivered to the Bluebell, i’m sure someone would’ve seen it.

I'm pretty sure that, as of a week or so ago, there was no 4-CIG on Bluebell metals.

1 DTC from the 4-CIG to be a static display at the Bluebell gala, guess will help with restoration fundraising, from the FB page

"Now the exciting news has been shared that 1753's DTC will be at the Bluebell Railway we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters for continuing to support the project.
We would like to also thank two companies that have played a big part in getting 1753 this far. First we would like to thank Nemesis Rail Limited for all of the support, engineering expertise and also all of the testing and work they have done so far.
A big thanks also needs to go out to Reid Freight Services who have worked closely with the group to ensure that 1753 has been safely moved on all of her journeys. This has given us as a group a huge piece of mind regarding safe movement and ensuring that 1753 has been in the right places and the right time. This has resulted in 1753 having done more mileage on Reid freight lorries than rails in the last 20 years!"

Just seen on 1753 Facebook page that the DTC will be travelling from Burton for this, so it isn’t the one seen on the road last month. The one seen on the road was entirely in Connex livery, no primer in sight, so not the one we’ve seen images of.
The DTC in primer/undercoat as we’ve seen pictures of is likely the one attending. Think it’s possible it’s been repainted (and if it has, it’ll be NSE)
If the DTC in Connex hasn't gone to bluebell then where has it disappeared off to , Any ideas ?

The CIG facebook group suggests that the rest of the unit is stored on a private site.
“The DTC is coming down from Burton to the Bluebell by road. The other components are already on private land in Sussex and came down about a month ago. We will give an update on what work has been carried out in due course.”
