08507 confirmed has just turned up at Craigentinny. Watch for 08480 heading south later, it is in position to be loaded.

Reported on the Scotrail io.group yesterday (14/08/26) that 08480 is still in use at Craigentinny. Not clear if 08507 is there as well.

08480 had the winch attached ready for positioning on the low loader around 1pm, when Hitachi staff discovered 08507 needed ‘fitter attention’. 08507 had its engine running at this point and did sound a bit rough.
They mentioned the plan was to see if 08507 could get attended to overnight at Craigentinny. At this point I left, returned next morning to find the RSS vehicles had gone.
