The line through Kimbolton was closed to passengers in 1953 - I do not know when it was closed completely.
That line has not yet been covered by the 'Disused Stations' website.

It is possible that the Signalling Record Society may have something in their archives.

It was on the Kettering Cambridge line, and I think it didn't close until about 1959.

Because of weak bridges the locos. used were antique until the arrival of Ivatt 2 2-6-0s. As a result of the former it was perhaps a better-photographed line than many. H.C. Casserley took quite a few along the line.
Probably a standard small Midland box of the 'Airfix Kit' type. Another on the branch and possibly similar was at Buckden (?) which survived at least until recently as a greenhouse, between the A1 and a slip road.
