The South Western Main Line has well and truly gone down the toilet, due to 'a fire on property near the railway' with delays of over 100 minutes. Not great as ive got a Red Jet in Southampton to catch at some point tonight!

This has screwed me getting home this evening. 40 min delayed has turned in to “Delayed”. Train has not moved. I’m not confident.

All lines were blocked at Byfleet and New Haw for the fire brigade to extinguish the fire just before the start of the evening peak, coupled with the car vs level crossing at Cooks and you have a recipe for disaster.
