Devoid of any branding like recent othersLooks like 150120 is returning to Newton Heath tomorrow on 5N31, anyone know what will be on the return 5H70.
Will Heaton be getting another unit to replace it?Been informed today that 156440 will be leaving HT permanently tomorrow to NH. Unsure which path it will use as one is for the 150/1 returning from C4 and the other will be 156440.
As far as people were aware yesterday, no.Will Heaton be getting another unit to replace it?
As far as people were aware yesterday, no.
I don’t think that will last long either…That will leave just one Porterbrook 156 at Heaton. This being 156423.
150113 I believe. Also 155345 has not entered service yet since it's return from Long Marston.Does anyone know which unit went to Wolverton yesterday please?
5H70 Newton Heath - Wolverton.
Thanks
Thanks for that150113 I believe. Also 155345 has not entered service yet since it's return from Long Marston.
Huddersfield line is closed again this week, so TPEs are diverted via Todmorden and take up the paths they would normally use.Any 150 swaps this week?
No, it finished in Sheffield last night due to the disruption in Manchester so dropped onto a NL diagram this morning. Swaps back onto a NH diagram to end the day at Stockport tonight. Also 150130 has over the last 48 hours quietly transferred from Newton Heath - Neville Hill or so it would it seem as today it is on the Leeds - Sheffield via Castleford circuit
Yea thanks for that pal the diagram has been updated as it was originally booked to do Leeds - Sheffield’s all day and finish at SheffieldNo, it finished in Sheffield last night due to the disruption in Manchester so dropped onto a NL diagram this morning. Is that a few trains got changed mid trip as it was easier to separate a 2 2 car 195 which wasn't going to make it back to Manchester that day as a service I was on to Nottingham was changed for a 195 as the original train was graffiti damagedNo, it finished in Sheffield last night due to the disruption in Manchester so dropped onto a NL diagram this morning. 421 is owned by Porterbrook, as is 440, which came back to NH last weekend after a good few years in the North East. 475 and 491 are the only two Angel units left now "loaned" to NH, as 485 is indeed heading home finally today having been "stranded" South of Corkickle since the tunnel closure along with 421. Both 475 and 491 have had C6 Wolverton body overhauls in recent times, 485 (ex ScotRail) hasn't. The "Northern" split is 37 Porterbrook units (excluding 407, condemned, for parts use only!), and 30 Angel Units. So all the Porterbrook 156s will be at Newton Heath if 156423 goes there, but are any Angel 156s based at NH too? I think 421/475/485/491 are there currently, and 156444 went back home to Heaton last week, but are there any others?
Thank you very much for that @Soft Hands, had no ideas 421 was a porterbrook unit421 is owned by Porterbrook, as is 440, which came back to NH last weekend after a good few years in the North East. 475 and 491 are the only two Angel units left now "loaned" to NH, as 485 is indeed heading home finally today having been "stranded" South of Corkickle since the tunnel closure along with 421. 224 (NH!), plus 274, 275 & 276...and 222 in the works for a C6!I didn't even realise 150204 had left NL. What 150/2s are left at NL?
It is 156423 yes, leaves Heaton as an Angel 156 only depot, which I suspect will continue to be the case for quite some time until Network Rail even begin to repair the farce on the coastThere's a 5N31 left Heaton this afternoon. I asume this is 156423.
Yep, 491 going to NH straight off a Wolverton C6, 475 coming down from HT to help out around December last year! So, just the two Angel 156s at NH now. These being 156 475/91.
