Tomorrow(Mon 20th April) am doing the 10.02 Euston-chester and 17.43 Liverpool-Euston, to try have 800’s running to MU speeds, having last time had no luck, due to tight turn around and driver not having DAS set up. I think have reasonable chance as know its not guaranteed to have 800’s running at MU speeds on WCML. I will report back on how things went after trip.

A survey of Avanti Northbound Liverpool services between Crewe and Weaver towards Lime Street for Sunday 2nd July has revealed - apart from a third of services cancelled - that only 50% of the 807's ran at the 125/120MU limits. It doesn't seem to be unit specific, as 807006 made two runs, one at the slower speed, and one in the faster speed range. Are all drivers now passed out for MU speeds? And are there specific units that seem to suffer DAS issues more than others? And is there any fix coming up for this?
