I had a check on Timetable World and looks like it was United Counties 277 Stamford to North Luffenham that did that route. Went about every 2-3 hours but on Friday, a totally different timetable with lots of short workings to Ketton as it was market day.

United Counties renumbered the Edith Weston service to 240 in November 1973 in order to allow Corby's expanding town services to occupy part of the 270-279 series. My 1978 timetables show a broadly similar level of service to ten years before. Stamford outstation closed in August 1980 but I don't know whether their local network ceased at the same time.

The main change from 10 years before, on 2nd February 1975, was 241 (formerly 278) Stamford-Market Harborough was curtailed at Caldecott (near the former Rockingham Station) and Service 243 (was 280 - Oakham-Stamford via Edith Weston) withdrawn, and all the Sunday services in the Stamford area were withdrawn. In 1968 and 1973 there were 5 vehicles outstationed at Stamford (1 on the 275 and the others on Stamford locals), by May 76 it was 5 (2 on the 244 Corby service and 3 on the Stamford locals) and at the time of closure in August '80 it was 3 (locals only). So a gradual run down. [numbers referring to am peak service]. Closure of the Outstation (and the local routes) in '80 was MAP and presumably the local authorities (Lincs and Leicestershire) were not prepared to pay the United Counties cost of operation.
