All to do with the lightweight materials used both body and chassis. Even the heavier chassis BYD/E200s are shocking for rattles and that’s with decent suspension. While the E400MMCs are better they can rattle and more so the thinner glass in them also make noise due to movement when hitting potholes or poor road surfaces.
Yet 18/19 year old Geminis sitting upstair there is no rattles. Heavier materials and better Volvo suspension also help but it shows you the difference in build quality..

I sometimes get to ride on a 09 plated Volvo Gemini near where I live. They really are quality. Hardly show their age
