Looks like the additional Scarborough-Filey journeys on the 13 started last Saturday.

The 99 & 100 are now running daily for the Summer Holidays, and the 99 is now every 10 minutes.

Go Ahead West Yorkshire have started operating the 30 & 61/61A. Looks like its using 2 Enviro 200s from Fourways (1 for the 30 and 1 for the 61/61A). Timetables are on Bustimes and Metro but not on the EY website.

With the 82/83/84 now running to Fountains Abbey, the vehicle requirement has risen from 3 to 4. It looks like 3 duties are run by Procters out of Leeming Bar (using 21005, 20279 & 20280 for today) and the fourth is still run out of Pocklington starting out as the 83 from York.

On the 82 to Fountains Abbey, destination blinds haven't been updated and neither have onboard announcements, just shows Ripon as the destination. Parked randomly at Ripon Bus Station, by the entrance not properly on a stand despite two stands being available. The 84 to York wasn't parked properly at a stand either, just randomly hovering next to a stand.

A road closure In Ouseburn caught the driver off guard and the duty manager at the depot on the phone seemed even more clueless, on top of the road closure in Grafton. Neither of these are mentioned on EY's website/app.

Procters are doing driver changes in Ripon unsurprisingly.

The Tap Off machine is also not working, just over a week after becoming active.

The blind wasn't working on the X81 on Sunday either with the bus showing 81 to Malton despite the X81 following a different route and not going to Malton.

I've still not had a single tap on tap off journey show correctly in the app. Somehow the system thinks I hit both a Hull area and Go Anywhere cap on the same day!

It was playing up but was later rectified, the onboard announcements were correctly for the X81. Surprisingly, no timetables for the X81 at the bus stop in Castle Howard, only for the 81. There's also no timetables for the M8 in Castle Howard.

There is a timetable poster for the 82/83/84 in Fountains Abbey at the bus stop, along with the timetables for all the DalesBus services, this could've been done by East Yorkshire (Procters?), National Trust or DalesBus. I suspect the latter is the most likely.

It also seems like the ticket machine can't be used to Tap Off in the event the 'Tap Off' reader isn't working. No issue if you're making one or two longer journeys but frustrating if you're making a shorter journey or trying to use the Daily Cap for the respective area. Other operators (First, Transdev) allow you to Tap Off on the ticket machine if the dedicated 'Tap Off' reader isn't working.

I spotted Enviro 200 21005 in Ripon today, with newly applied Procters vinyls. Quite strange, as EY said that the Procters branding was going to be phased out in favour of North Riding yet they've just vinyled a bus with Procters branding instead.

The bustimes for GAWY is a right mess rn fleet number wise, the many buses which have received a new fleet number have for some reason reverted to their old IDs while carrying their new numbers physically... no idea whats going on

Seems like Ticket Machine codes haven't yet been updated with the new fleet numbers.

20951 and 20954 are both now on the road in the new EastRider white branding and on the X46/47

3 of the 11 new buses are now out and operating

Also looks like Volvo B7RLE Plaxton Centro 20363 has transferred to Go Ahead West Yorkshire.

The Tap on Tap off saga continues....the weekly Go Anywhere cap is £36 but I've been charged £53 across the week! Not a chance that I'd ever use this system again as it's clearly not set-up correctly.

The only other time I have used a TOTO system for a weekly ticket was in Cornwall where I was also overcharged and had to faff around for two weeks before I got a refund.

Yes 20946 is out running for the first time today.

Should be another two new buses out over the weekend if all goes to plan.

My bad I should have been more specific, but I meant the number which is given to the individual bus to identify it internally, which is usually then printed onto the bus itself, and in the case of the brand new E400MMCs for EastRider X46/X47, they seem to have it in black writing REALLY small near the door which is unusual + hard to see (you probably need one of those glasses that I forgot name of annoyingly, for especially older people to see it).

Why would old people - or indeed any ‘normal’ customer - need to see it? Or be remotely interested? As you say, it’s for internal use!
