I went past Olympia recently, there was some construction work and a temporary yellow road sign which said Motorail on. I guess someone copied a relic sign without checking what it was actually for!

The car park is still called P4 Motorail isn't it? If that's what you've been told to aim at the sign is definitely in date!
When did the last Motorail train leave Kensington? 1981? It seems remarkable that this BR marketing brand name is still linked to the location some 45 years later!

Quick's Chronology says that the last service was an overnight arrival from Stirling on Sunday 25 October 1981. Motorail services from Euston and Bristol to Scottish destinations continued until late May 1995.

Here is the sign on Street View, at the top of Olympia Way which goes down to the station
It was 1966.
There is a BBC FB video about Kensington Olympia just before it opened when Blue Peter visited.
