I heard a whistle from this rail tour as it passed through Edge Hill on the return journey to Birmingham, but looking at Realtime Trains, it was heavily delayed around Huyton. Just wondering if anyone knew why?

Is anything southbound being diverted Warrington Bank Quay-Chester-Crewe (assuming non electric)?

Thanks for the update. Looks to be on the move again.

Given the recent/current weather, was it still being steam-hauled for part of the journey as planned?

Does anyone know why the train was held at Warrington for two hours? Doesnt look like anything had been let through ahead of them.

Another steam operator set fire to the signalling at Acton Bridge.
I've seen every inch of Warrington station whilst I was there.
