How long are bus stop shelters meant to last

I always think that the Q type shelter would provide very little actual shelter.

I watch videos like this and come across old Bus shelters. The news usually promotes new bus shelters as modular but I think old ones, the ones from the 80's are modular as they seem to have had the glass changed, seats, maybe changed, and definitely added to them over time. 6:15 as an example. I have seen old video of the same style shelter having no bench.

Not sure of the age but there is a lovely old style brick and glass shelter just outside of Bridlington that just screams rural Yorkshire.
