My thread has once again closed due to inactivity, I can't really complain as it's been a full year since my last post. For anyone interested my previous thread can be found here !

I'm kind of back, I had a day out this month and decided to chuck together a report but then decided it didn't sit right with me leaving 12 months unaccounted for, so there's a brief overview of that period too.

I won't be as active as I was before but my next target is to hit 1,000 stations, which I'm only 20 away from as I type. In terms of traction, I would have prioritised finishing the Class 156's but having learnt one of my required ex-EMR ones is now at Ely and unlikely to be revived has killed any interest I have in hunting down the last 15 I need.

A couple of trips this month which just about justified a report, hoping to get out a bit more over summer...

Indeed so, and I enjoyed seeing the return of ash39’s trip reports. Hopefully more will be making their way to a grateful audience really soon!

Managed a day in the West Mids this month so another report. Plenty of winners too!

Not bad going at all on a reduced service in the Midlands! Well done good sir :)

I would like to ask whether you deem the health insurance worth having, I’m intrigued and might actually get it myself. Just after a personal opinion on it really :)

I needed to have it as a condition of my mortgage but it's impossible to say whether it's good value or not until I need it, which I hopefully never will! If I had no mortgage or children I don't think I'd bother, but the free weekly Caffe Nero is a nice perk at least
