SWR service mess near Vauxhall (26/06/26)

I am not sure exactly what's going on. There are two reported issues: One is signal failure which delays trains by '5 minutes', and a trespasser delaying service by 'up to 60 minutes'.

However the trespasser issue was there as early as late afternoon, but at 2215 most suburban trains are still delayed indefinitely or cancelled. I have been waiting on the Platform for a while at Clapham J.

Does anyone have any insight into this? Is the trespasser still on the line or is it simply SWR cannot recover services from the incident?

The trespass incident kicked off at 1825. I know because I was on a Southern service out of Victoria sitting in the seats adjacent to the driver's cab and heard the Radio message. Everything was at a stand for the best part of 50 minutes.

Thank you. It's really unfortunate given the level of cancellation and disruption we already have due to the heat.

So it covered the whole routes from Waterloo/Victoria to at least Clapham Junction? Wow, not fun, especially in that weather.

was stuck on 2C58 701.002 at Barnes UP pfm.2 18.50-19.20, thankfully the AC was working on this one, only spoilt by passengers opening the door to look outside if there was any progress.
The Guard suffered strong verbal abuse from one individual who remained on board.

Yes. I was stuck heading into Victoria. Power off for a large chunk of time too.

Trespasser was apprehended and walked back to Clapham junction. Saw photo on social media
