801228's recently applied special livery features Class A4 locomotive 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley'.

I was wondering how many other special/advertising liveries on trains or locomotives have features other trains.

The only two I can think of are 50044 at The Greatest Gathering and 43093 with GWR.

Many years ago there was a Northern 158 that had a livery that featured a Tyne & Wear Metrocar on it

Northern have had a few class 158 multiple units carrying adverts that feature trains/locos, including ones for the National Railway Museum and Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.

158784 in particular had an advert for 'PTEG' which included a Glasgow Subway train, Tyne & Wear Metrocar, a class 333, a Manchester tram, a bus and a class 507 or 508 Merseyrail unit, which must surely be the highest number of different rail systems in one livery.

Northern’s 158903 is wrapped in a special set of vinyls celebrating 200 years of railways. Included in these are pictures of a 195, 158, an original electric emu (1890 to 1910) and Stephenson with his ‘rocket’.

South West Trains’ Class 455 No. 5856 had a Legoland wrap, which featured a photo of their Orient Expedition ride - a green (not really steam) loco.

South Western Railway’s Class 701 No. 701060 has a Legoland wrap on the driving coaches, which features a cartoon steam loco which I think is meant to represent the Legoland Express ride.

The ScotRail 153s have a 156 on it, albeit not very big and in the same style as the rest of the graphics, not a real photo of one.

Some Swiss Re460 have featured other trains
Alex Taurus class 183 featuring "Der Adler" (The Eagle), the very first steam locomotive to run on German soil.

Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway

My immediate thought for this thread was 156420, which used to carry the nameplate 'La'al Ratty' above the vestibule windows. I could have sworn it also had a livery, but it didn't. It was a different 156 that had the Ravenglass & Eskdale livery on it.

I have an image in my head of a 15x with some sort of West Yorkshire Metro promotional livery on it, but I could be going mad.
